These Terms and Conditions govern the use of www.uglybunch.com and the purchase of any goods from it.
Please note that by using this website you agree to be bound by its terms, conditions, disclaimers, and limitations of liability. You also acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions. Ugly Bunch reserves the right to amend or update this information at any time without providing notice.
Return Policy
Ugly Bunch don’t offer refunds. If you are unsatisfied with the lifespan or quality of your flowers, please get in touch via email (with photos attached), within 24 hours of purchase. Flowers are unable to be replaced if done so out of this 24 hour period.
It is the sender's responsibility to make sure Ugly Bunch is provided with detailed & accurate delivery instructions. If incorrect delivery information is provided, Ugly Bunch is under no requirement to send a replacement.
Should this happen, please get in contact either via email or text to see if redelivery can be arranged (will incur a new order charge & a redelivery fee).
Product Availability
All floral products are subject to seasonal quality and availability, so when purchasing an Ugly Bunch you’re acknowledging that the flowers, colours, shapes & sizes are all subject to change & are not exact depictions of the product images.
Weddings & Events
Invoices
Quotes are valid for 30 days.
To confirm your quote and secure your date, an initial non-refundable 20% deposit payment and approval of these terms and conditions is required.
This initial payment is non-refundable, but will be deducted from the total owing.
Payment Terms
The balance owing is due 30 days prior to your event date.
Payments can be made by direct debit.
Changes to Quote
Upon accepting this quote, you are agreeing to the items and to the total value listed.
Should you wish to make changes to the items in this quote, a minimum of 30 days notice before your event date is required. However, please note the final quote amount cannot be reduced by more than 10% from the original agreed upon estimate.
Event Cancellations
If the client decides to cancel this agreement, it must be done so in writing to sam@uglybunch.com, at least 30 days prior to the event.
Events cancelled within 30 days of the event date remain payable in full, regardless of the circumstance.
If you cancel your event and provide more than 30 days notice, the initial payment made remains non-refundable. Moneys paid above the initial 20% payment will be refunded.
We reserve the right to cancel the contract at any time. In this instance, you are entitled to a full refund (including the initial 20% payment).
Rescheduled & Relocated Events
Any changes to the event venue or event date, must be notified in writing to sam@uglybunch.com.
Best efforts will be made to accommodate new dates or location changes, however we cannot guarantee availability.
If we are unavailable on your new event date or are unable to accommodate your change of venue, the initial 20% payment made remains non-refundable.
If we are available on your new event date, or able to accommodate your venue change, the initial payment made will be transferred to the new date. An updated quote will be drawn up taking into account the changed circumstances.
Price Variations
We reserve the right to amend or change the pricing outlined in this quote in the event of cost changes beyond our control (e.g. wholesale flower prices).
Every effort will be made to honour the original agreed price, however the current nature of shipping and flower availability dramatically affects wholesale prices.
Any price increase will be formally advised to you in writing at least 14 days prior to your event date.
If you require an after hours pack-down (7pm to 7am) a $350 surcharge will be incurred. If your vendor requires an after hours pack-down that has not been scheduled ahead of time, we reserve the right to invoice you for this charge.
Product Substitution & Availability
All floral product is subject to seasonal quality and availability.
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee availability, exact colours or types of specific product.
Regardless of the above, we will always adhere to the agreed colour palette and floral design.
We reserve the right to substitute all products to ensure the highest quality product is used. If needed, a final consultation can be arranged to discuss alternative options.
Vessels and vases may change due to supplier issues, we will substitute the selected product with items of greater or equal value, in line with the overall look and aesthetic.
Refunds will not be given for minor changes in flower type or appearance.
Delivery
Upon delivery (or collection) the client assumes all responsibility and care for the flowers and arrangements.
Hired Pieces
All hire items remain our property and are provided on a hire only basis, unless purchased by the customer.
All hire pieces must be returned to us within 48 hours of the event date, unless agreed otherwise.
Please advise your guests that all hired items (e.g. vases) must not be removed from the venue, otherwise you will be charged the full cost of replacement of each item not returned.
Clean, unbroken return of all hired stock is your responsibility.
Lost, broken or damaged hired stock, must be reimbursed for in full, by you.
We reserve the right to charge the client full replacement costs for items damaged, lost or broken.
Photographs & Video Footage
We retain the right to photograph all finished work and use photographs of your event in our social media and marketing efforts.
Photos taken by us of your arrangements remain our property. Our photos are not to be reproduced, copied or edited in any way by you or any third party without our prior permission.
Supplying Your Own Vases & Structures
Please check that your vases and vessels are water tight before you drop them off to us.
We won’t provide refunds for any work that cannot be completed by us on the event day due to faulty or unsafe materials provided by the client.
We cannot be held responsible for any damage done to items hired by the client.
Privacy
We respect your privacy. Your names, event date, contact details, order information and pricing will be treated with complete privacy.
Extreme Weather Conditions
In the instance of extreme weather (wind, rain, heat, or cold), we will always put safety first.
We cannot be held liable for the impact extreme weather conditions have on our ability to safely do our job.
While we will do our best to go above and beyond, we cannot be held responsible for damaged florals as result of weather.
